Qwick Fwy

"Fwy" is the word "Fry" with the "r" mispronounced. It started as a genuine misspeak and was instantly the name of the dish, preferably shouted. As in, "what's for dinner?" I don't know, but we have cabbage, let's make a "QUICK FWY!"

1/2 head of cabbage
1/2 lb. of meat of your choice (ground beef, sausage, chicken)
1-2 cans of beans of your choice (pinto, black, etc.)
olive oil
your favorite seasonings

Wash and chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

If the meat is already cooked (leftovers), then add the cabbage to the oil and cook to your desired level of tenderness. If the meat is not cooked, cook it first, then throw the oil and cabbage into the same pan.

Drain and add the beans and season to taste. Yummy and filling.

Serves 2-3.
